Hatred of Jews and antisemitism have reached alarming levels. Antisemitism is moving back into everyday life and many people remain indifferent. Therefore, Ronald Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, issued a strong call to action: “Who is speaking out? Who dares to come forward?”
A call that was answered by people from 15 nations in at least 70 cities during the time around the Jewish Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoa.
Under the motto ” From the Heart and on Foot: Remembering, Reconciling, and Taking a Stand!” participants expressed their solidarity with Jewish people around the world with public Marches of Life and took a visible stand against antisemitism.
