From September 17-24, 16 artists from Germany and Poland met for a week of artistic creation, encounter and exchange.
The project was sponsored by the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation (Fundacja Współpracy Polsko-Niemieckiej). The Polish artist Radosław Krawczyk initiated this week of exchange, in which March of Life was the German partner. One of the topics was reconciliation between the two nations, which has been a central concern since the first March of Life in Poland in 2012. During one of the events, members of the March of Life staff shared the message of remembrance, reconciliation and a united voice for Israel with the participants and gave the opportunity to share personal family stories.
On September 23, selected paintings of the participants were exhibited in a vernissage at the Cultural and Recreational Center in Santok (centrum kultury i rekreacji w santoku).
