In times of the Corona Virus, Holocaust survivors are at risk in many ways. Not only because due to their age they belong to the high-risk group, but also because the lockdown and social isolation intensifies their trauma. Not being allowed to leave the house, helplessly waiting to see what happens next, being separated from family and friends – these are the conditions that evoke memories of their childhood in the ghettos.
For this reason, March of Life started the campaign #NOTALONEAGAIN, in which everyone was invited to take a picture of themselves with an encouraging message. These photos were sent with a personal greeting to many Holocaust survivors.
