Marches of life in Stuttgart and Tübingen

On April 23 and 24, around 250 people took to the streets in Stuttgart and Tübingen, where the March of Life was initiated by Jobst Bittner. Among them were Ilan Dalal and Gal Gilboa Dalal, father and brother of Guy Gilboa-Dalal, who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

They emphasized the importance of the return of the Israeli hostages to their families.
The guest of honor at the march was Holocaust survivor Mina Gampel, who told her story.
In the evening, Erev Yom HaShoa (the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day), a moving live event followed under the motto Bring them Home! | The family of an Israeli hostage tells their story”. Several hundred people took part on site and online worldwide. The evening was simultaneously translated into six languages.

At Conclusion, the March of Life took place once again in Stuttgart city center with over 250 people. Together, the participants expressed their friendship with Israel and their support for Jewish life in the entire region. Despite the rain, the March of Life thus became a strong sign of solidarity, underlining the motto of this year’s march: “We will not be silent!”

The March of Life was also covered by the media and was mentioned in newspapers and even on the SWR evening news.

In the coming days and weeks, numerous Marches of Life will take place around the world. They commemorate the Holocaust, set a clear signal for Israel and against antisemitism and call for the release of all hostages still being held.

You are warmly invited to find a march near you at marchdeslebens.org.
