The Corona virus situation affects Israel as much as any other nation. Already two weeks ago, the Israeli government issued drastic entry restrictions, and the public life in the country is being restricted more and more. Many airlines are already cancelling their flights to Israel until May, all urban planning has been halted and cannot be continued for the time being.
To evaluate the development, we have been in regular contact with the organizers in the seven cities in Israel in the past weeks, as well as our ticket partner WorldWide Village Travel Gmbh, and our tour company Keshet Educational Journeys. However, the worsening of the situation worldwide, and the fact that the end of the crisis is not in sight, does not allow us to hold the March of the Nations in Israel from 12 to 14 May 2020. Therefore, the March of the Nations will be postponed to the week of 10 to 15 May 2021.
All those who have already registered for the March of the Nations or booked an accommodation package will be informed about the refund process by our partner WorldWide Village Travel Gmbh. Those who have booked an Israel tour through the travel agency Pfeiffair will be informed directly by Frank Pfeiffer about the refund process.
The preparations in the run-up to the March of the Nations have already resulted in considerable costs. We kindly ask for your support in this matter. We are convinced that Israel, even in times of worldwide corona shaking, is at the top of God’s agenda. The Vice Mayor of Haifa, Rabbi Dov Hayun, and the responsible persons in Tiberias, Kfar Saba and other cities in Israel, agreed in conversation with us: If not 2020, then the March of the Nations must take place in 2021!
