Crisis Tells Whether our Friendship is Real!
Jobst Bittner, founder and president of March of Life, is currently on a solidarity visit to Israel with his wife Charlotte. There, he met friends and many people affected by the vicious terrorist attack of October 7. Many of them have lost family members, neighbors or relatives. Their sons and daughters are fighting for Israel’s future just a few miles away in Gaza.
Visits to Kibbutz Kfar Aza and the Site of the Nova Festival
They visited the site of the horrific Nova Festival massacre in southern Israel and the former Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where over 300 terrorists infiltrated on October 7, 2023, and brutally murdered scores of innocent Israelis. They were guided through the kibbutz by a survivor of the massacre.
Meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Beer Sheva
Together with Israeli March of Life Director Igal Even-Ziv, Jobst Bittner met with the deputy mayor of Beer Sheva. The capital of the southern Negev has also been hard hit by the effects of the October 7 attacks. The representatives of the city expressed their gratitude for the upcoming March of the Nations in their city and emphasized the importance of international friendship and support for the people of Israel.
Invitation to the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus in Jerusalem
At the beginning of his visit, Jobst Bittner, who was again included in the list of the “Top 50 Allies of Israel” in 2023, was a guest at the 20th anniversary ceremony of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus (KCAC) in the Knesset. The event at the Knesset was attended by Christian leaders from around the world, Knesset members, including co-chairs Yuli Edelstein and MK Sharren Haskel, as well as Yarden Gonen, representing the families of Israeli hostages. Due to the solemn occasion, the ceremony was more of a commemoration, marked by the recent deaths of 21 Israeli soldiers in Gaza and the plight of 136 hostages.
